ARPC3 / HRP /

Product Details
Description p21-ARC is part of a complex implicated in the control of actin polymerization in cells. It belongs to a complex composed of ARP2, ARP3, ARPC1, ARPC2, ARPC3, ARPC4 and ARPC5, collectively known as the ARPC3 family. p21-ARC is implicated as an important regulator of growth cone translocation, especially in the CNS (Strasser et al, 2004).

About ARPC3
This gene encodes one of seven subunits of the human Arp2/3 protein complex. The Arp2/3 protein complex has been conserved through evolution and is implicated in the control of actin polymerization in cells. Alternatively spliced transcript variants have been found for this gene. [provided by RefSeq, Dec 2013]
