SLITRK2 / Unconjugated /
Product Details
Description | Members of the SLITRK family, such as SLITRK2, are integral membrane proteins with 2 N-terminal leucine-rich repeat (LRR) domains similar to those of SLIT proteins. Most SLITRKs, including SLITRK2, also have C-terminal regions that share homology with neurotrophin receptors. SLITRKs are expressed predominantly in neural tissues and have neurite-modulating activity. | |

About SLITRK2
This gene encodes an integral membrane protein that contains two N-terminal leucine-rich repeats domains and contains C-terminal regions similar to neurotrophin receptors. The encoded protein may play a role in modulating neurite activity. Alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding the same protein have been described.[provided by RefSeq, Feb 2010]
