Description Protein phosphatase 6 (PPP6C) is a serine/threonine phosphatase that may function in cell cycle regulation based on its functional homology with budding yeast Sit4p and fission yeast ppe1. The phosphoprotein alpha4 has been identified as a potential regulatory subunit. At least three alternative transcripts have been reported.
