Description	The specificity of mAb IPO-38 was demonstrated in different human and murine lymphoid and non-lymphoid cell lines. It does not react with mononuclear cells and granulocytes of healthy donors but does react with nuclei of blood cells of patients with different forms of leukemia and with cells from lymph nodes of patients with Hodgkin's disease and non-hodgkin's lymphoma. Also a positive reaction in nuclei of breast and colorectal tumor cells was demonstrated. IPO-38 may be a good marker of cellular proliferation during monitoring of tumor progression.
