ZNF462 / Unconjugated /
Product Details
Description | Rabbit polyclonal antibody to ZNF462 also known as zinc finger protein and GDNF-inducible zinc finger protein1 whose expression can be detected in the skeletal muscle and liver but it is highly expressed in the fetal brain. It is found in the nucleoplasm. This protein acts as a transcriptional repressor and binds the GZF1 responsive element (GRE) (consensus: 5'-TGCGCN[TG][CA]TATA-3'). May be regulating VSX2/HOX10 expression. It is extensively involved in metal ion binding and RNA polymerase II core promoter proximal region sequence-specific DNA binding. | |

About ZNF462
The protein encoded by this gene belongs to C2H2-type zinc finger family of proteins. It contains multiple C2H2-type zinc fingers and may be involved in transcriptional regulation. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants encoding different isoforms. [provided by RefSeq, Dec 2016]
