ZNF281 / Unconjugated /

Product Details
Description Rabbit polyclonal to ZNF281. The zinc finger protein 281 (ZNF281) belongs to the krueppel C2H2-type zinc-finger protein family. ZNF281 is involved in transcriptional regulation. ZNF281 represses the transcription of a number of genes, including gastrin and ornithine decarboxylase, by binding to the G-rich box in the enhancer region of these genes. ZNF281 is phosphorylated upon DNA damage, probably by ATM or ATR.

About ZNF281
Enables DNA-binding transcription repressor activity, RNA polymerase II-specific and RNA polymerase II cis-regulatory region sequence-specific DNA binding activity. Involved in negative regulation of gene expression; negative regulation of transcription by RNA polymerase II; and positive regulation of transcription, DNA-templated. Located in nucleoplasm.
