TRPC7 / ATTO 655 / S64A-36

Product Details
Description Mouse monoclonal to TrpC7 (ATTO 655). Transient receptor potential cation channel, subfamily C, member 7, also known as TRPC7, is a non-selective cation channel that is directly activated by DAG. TrpC7 shows constitutive activity and susceptibility to negative regulation by extracellular Ca2+. Because of this, TrpC7 plays an important role in the Ca2+ signaling pathway. TrpC7 is also expressed abundantly in the heart, and combined with its ability to act as a Ca2+ channel, TrpC7 might contribute to the process of heart failure..

About TRPC7
Predicted to enable inositol 1,4,5 trisphosphate binding activity and store-operated calcium channel activity. Predicted to be involved in metal ion transport; regulation of cytosolic calcium ion concentration; and single fertilization. Predicted to act upstream of or within calcium ion transport. Predicted to be located in plasma membrane. Predicted to be part of cation channel complex. Predicted to be integral component of plasma membrane. [provided by Alliance of Genome Resources, Apr 2022]
About ATTO 655
ATTO 655 from ATTO-Tec Gmbh has an excitation peak at 663 nm and an emission peak at 684 nm.
