SLC22A3 / Unconjugated /
Product Details
Description | Rabbit polyclonal antibody to SLC22A3 and is also known as protein E7 whose expression can be detected in the early protein. It is found in the host cytoplasm and host nucleus. This protein plays an effective role in viral genome replication by driving entry of quiescent cells into the cell cycle which stimulates progression from G1 to S phase, allowing the virus to efficiently use the cellular DNA replicating machinery to achieve viral genome replication. It also plays an extensive role in the inhibition of both antiviral and antiproliferative functions of host interferon alpha. | |

About SLC22A3
Polyspecific organic cation transporters in the liver, kidney, intestine, and other organs are critical for elimination of many endogenous small organic cations as well as a wide array of drugs and environmental toxins. This gene is one of three similar cation transporter genes located in a cluster on chromosome 6. The encoded protein contains twelve putative transmembrane domains and is a plasma integral membrane protein. [provided by RefSeq, Jul 2008]
