SEMA3D / Unconjugated /

Product Details
Description Rabbit polyclonal antibody to SEMA3D also known as semaphorin3D, whose expression can be detected in the testis as well as in the kidney but is highly expressive in the colon and right renal cortex. It is found in the extracellular space. This protein extensively binds to neuropilin by inducing the collapse and paralysis of neuronal growth cones, on the other hand it potentially acts as repulsive cues toward specific neuronal populations. It also helps in cell differentiation and negative chemotaxis.

About SEMA3D
This gene encodes a member of the semaphorin III family of secreted signaling proteins that are involved in axon guidance during neuronal development. The encoded protein contains an N-terminal Sema domain, an immunoglobulin like domain and a C-terminal basic domain. The protein encoded by this gene binds neuropilin and plays an important role in cardiovascular development. [provided by RefSeq, Aug 2016]
