RNF41 / Unconjugated /

Product Details
Description Rabbit polyclonal to RNF41. RNF41 contains one RING-type zinc finger, a motif present in a variety of functionally distinct proteins and known to be involved in protein-protein and protein-DNA interactions. It acts as E3 ubiquitin-protein ligase and regulates the degradation of target proteins, such as ERBB3. RNF41 has been detected in ovary, testis and prostate.

About RNF41
This gene encodes an E3 ubiquitin ligase. The encoded protein plays a role in type 1 cytokine receptor signaling by controlling the balance between JAK2-associated cytokine receptor degradation and ectodomain shedding. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants. [provided by RefSeq, Jun 2011]
