FFAR3 / Unconjugated /
Product Details
Description | Rabbit polyclonal antibody to FFAR3 also known as G-protein coupled receptor41 whose expression can be detected in the sympathetic ganglia and is highly expressive in the adipose tissues. It is found in the cell membrane. This protein controls the production of hormones involved in whole-body energy homeostasis, for instance it regulates blood pressure through renin secretion and may also regulate secretion of the PYY peptide by enteroendocrine cells and controls gut motility, intestinal transit rate, and the harvesting of energy from SCFAs produced by gut microbiota. It can also mediate the activation of the inflammatory and immune response by SCFAs in the gut regulating the rapid production of chemokines and cytokines by intestinal epithelial cells. | |
