UCP2

Aliases: BMIQ4, SLC25A8, UCPH
Other: mitochondrial uncoupling protein 2|solute carrier family 25 member 8|uncoupling protein 2 (mitochondrial, proton carrier)

Mitochondrial uncoupling proteins (UCP) are members of the larger family of mitochondrial anion carrier proteins (MACP). UCPs separate oxidative phosphorylation from ATP synthesis with energy dissipated as heat, also referred to as the mitochondrial proton leak. UCPs facilitate the transfer of anions from the inner to the outer mitochondrial membrane and the return transfer of protons from the ... see more

PE-Cy5

Common Laser: 488-561
Common Filter: 670/30
Excitation Peak: 496
Emission Peak: 667

PE-Cyanine®5 (PE-Cy5) is a red-emitting tandem fluorophore that combines phycoerythrin (PE) and Cy5. The donor molecule, PE can be excited by the 488-nm blue, 532-nm green, or 561-nm yellow-green laser and and transfers energy to the acceptor molecule, Cy5. PE-Cy5 has an excitation peak at 496 nm and an emission peak at 667 nm.
