Transferrin

Aliases: HEL-S-71p, PRO1557, PRO2086, TFQTL1
Other: serotransferrin|beta-1 metal-binding globulin|epididymis secretory sperm binding protein Li 71p|siderophilin

This gene encodes a glycoprotein with an approximate molecular weight of 76.5 kDa. It is thought to have been created as a result of an ancient gene duplication event that led to generation of homologous C and N-terminal domains each of which binds one ion of ferric iron. The function of this protein is to transport iron from the intestine, reticuloendothelial system, and liver parenchymal cell... see more

PE-Cy5.5

Common Laser: 488-561
Common Filter: 695/40
Excitation Peak: 565
Emission Peak: 695

PE-Cyanine®5.5 (PE-Cy5.5) is a red-emitting tandem fluorophore that combines phycoerythrin (PE) and Cy5.5. The donor molecule, PE can be excited by the 488-nm blue, 532-nm green, or 561-nm yellow-green laser and and transfers energy to the acceptor molecule, Cy5.5. PE-Cy5.5 has an excitation peak at 496 nm and an emission peak at 695 nm.
