Aliases: CSC-21K, DDC8
Other: metalloproteinase inhibitor 2|testicular secretory protein Li 57|tissue inhibitor of metalloproteinases 2

This gene is a member of the TIMP gene family. The proteins encoded by this gene family are natural inhibitors of the matrix metalloproteinases, a group of peptidases involved in degradation of the extracellular matrix. In addition to an inhibitory role against metalloproteinases, the encoded protein has a unique role among TIMP family members in its ability to directly suppress the proliferati... see more

PE-Cy5

Common Laser: 488-561
Common Filter: 670/30
Excitation Peak: 496
Emission Peak: 667

PE-Cyanine®5 (PE-Cy5) is a red-emitting tandem fluorophore that combines phycoerythrin (PE) and Cy5. The donor molecule, PE can be excited by the 488-nm blue, 532-nm green, or 561-nm yellow-green laser and and transfers energy to the acceptor molecule, Cy5. PE-Cy5 has an excitation peak at 496 nm and an emission peak at 667 nm.
