PTGER1

Aliases: EP1
Other: prostaglandin E2 receptor EP1 subtype|PGE receptor, EP1 subtype|PGE2 receptor EP1 subtype|prostaglandin E receptor 1 (subtype EP1), 42kD|prostaglandin E receptor 1 (subtype EP1), 42kDa|prostaglandin E receptor 1, subtype EP1|prostanoid EP1 receptor

The protein encoded by this gene is a member of the G protein-coupled receptor family. This protein is one of four receptors identified for prostaglandin E2 (PGE2). Through a phosphatidylinositol-calcium second messenger system, G-Q proteins mediate this receptor's activity. Knockout studies in mice suggested a role of this receptor in mediating algesia and in regulation of blood pressure. Stud... see more

FITC

Common Laser: 488
Common Filter: 530/43
Excitation Peak: 490
Emission Peak: 525

Fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC) has an excitation peak at 495 nm and an emission peak at 519 nm. The name FITC is a misnomer in that the isothiocyanate is a reactive form of this dye. Once FITC is conjugated to an antibody, it is simply Fluorescein conjugated. FITC is one of the most widely used dyes for fluorescent applications, therefore most instruments come standard with a 488 nm laser a... see more
