Phosphatidylinositol 3-kinase is composed of an 85 kDa regulatory subunit and a 110 kDa catalytic subunit. The protein encoded by this gene represents the catalytic subunit, which uses ATP to phosphorylate PtdIns, PtdIns4P and PtdIns(4,5)P2. This gene has been found to be oncogenic and has been implicated in cervical cancers. A pseudogene of this gene has been defined on chromosome 22. [provide... see more

Peridinin-Chlorophyll-Protein (PerCP) is a red-emitting fluorescent protein isolated from algae that can be excited by the 488 nm blue laser and captured with a 670/30 nm bandpass filter. PerCP exhibits a large Stokes' Shift, with an excitation peak at 482 nm and an emission peak at 675 nm. PerCP is was historically used in flow cytometry, however it is highly susceptible to photobleaching and... see more
