PCDH7

Aliases: BH-Pcdh, BHPCDH, PPP1R120
Other: protocadherin-7|BH-protocadherin (brain-heart)|brain-heart protocadherin|protein phosphatase 1, regulatory subunit 120

This gene belongs to the protocadherin gene family, a subfamily of the cadherin superfamily. The gene encodes a protein with an extracellular domain containing 7 cadherin repeats. The gene product is an integral membrane protein that is thought to function in cell-cell recognition and adhesion. Alternative splicing yields isoforms with unique cytoplasmic tails. Common Filter: 660/20
Excitation Peak: 651
Emission Peak: 660

Allophycocyanin (APC) is a fluorescent protein derived from cyanobacteria and red algae and a potent donor fluorophore to create tandem dyes that can be excited off the 633-640 nm laser. APC has an excitation peak at 650 nm and a emission peak at 660 nm.
