This gene encodes an integral membrane protein which belongs to one of seven subfamilies of inward-rectifier potassium channel proteins called potassium channel subfamily J. The encoded protein is a subunit of the potassium channel which is homotetrameric. It is controlled by G-proteins and has a greater tendency to allow potassium to flow into a cell rather than out of a cell. Naturally occurr... see more

Common Filter: 660/20
Excitation Peak: 651
Emission Peak: 660

Allophycocyanin (APC) is a fluorescent protein derived from cyanobacteria and red algae and a potent donor fluorophore to create tandem dyes that can be excited off the 633-640 nm laser. APC has an excitation peak at 650 nm and a emission peak at 660 nm.
