GPR120

Aliases: BMIQ10, GPR120, GPR129, GT01, O3FAR1, PGR4
Other: free fatty acid receptor 4|G-protein coupled receptor 120|G-protein coupled receptor 129|G-protein coupled receptor GT01|G-protein coupled receptor PGR4|omega-3 fatty acid receptor 1

This gene encodes a G protein-coupled receptor (GPR) which belongs to the rhodopsin family of GPRs. The encoded protein functions as a receptor for free fatty acids, including omega-3, and participates in suppressing anti-inflammatory responses and insulin sensitizing. Multiple transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene. [provided by RefSeq, Feb 2012]

Alexa Fluor 555

Common Laser: 532
Common Filter: 575/36
Excitation Peak: 555
Emission Peak: 565

Alexa Fluor™ 555 (AF555, Alexa 555) has an excitation peak at 555 nm and an emission peak at 565 nm, and is spectrally similar to Cy®3 (GE Healthcare), TRITC, iFluor® 555 (ATT Bioquest) and iFluor® 560 (ATT Bioquest). Many flow cytometers are equipped with 532nm lasers, so while Alexa 555 can be used for flow cytometry, PE is more commonly used due to its brightness and spectral characteristi... see more
