GJC1

Aliases: CX45, GJA7
Other: gap junction gamma-1 protein|CTC-296K1.4|connexin-45|gap junction alpha-7 protein|gap junction protein, gamma 1, 45kDa

This gene is a member of the connexin gene family. The encoded protein is a component of gap junctions, which are composed of arrays of intercellular channels that provide a route for the diffusion of low molecular weight materials from cell to cell. Alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding the same isoform have been described. [provided by RefSeq, Jul 2008]

APC

Common Laser: 628-640
Common Filter: 660/20
Excitation Peak: 651
Emission Peak: 660

Allophycocyanin (APC) is a fluorescent protein derived from cyanobacteria and red algae and a potent donor fluorophore to create tandem dyes that can be excited off the 633-640 nm laser. APC has an excitation peak at 650 nm and a emission peak at 660 nm.
