EXTL1

Aliases: EXTL
Other: exostosin-like 1|alpha-N-acetylglucosaminyltransferase II|exostoses (multiple)-like 1|exostosin-L|glucuronosyl-N-acetylglucosaminyl-proteoglycan 4-alpha-N- acetylglucosaminyltransferase|glucuronyl-N-acetylglucosaminylproteoglycan alpha-1,4-N- acetylglucosaminyltransferase|multiple exostosis-like protein

This gene is a member of the multiple exostoses (EXT) family of glycosyltransferases, which function in the chain polymerization of heparan sulfate and heparin. The encoded protein harbors alpha 1,4- N-acetylglucosaminyltransferase activity, and is involved in chain elongation of heparan sulfate and possibly heparin. [provided by RefSeq, Jul 2008]

FITC

Common Filter: 530/43
Excitation Peak: 490
Emission Peak: 525

Fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC) has an excitation peak at 495 nm and an emission peak at 519 nm. The name FITC is a misnomer in that the isothiocyanate is a reactive form of this dye. Once FITC is conjugated to an antibody, it is simply Fluorescein conjugated. FITC is one of the most widely used dyes for fluorescent applications, therefore most instruments come standard with a 488 nm laser a... see more
