DPYD

Aliases: DHP, DHPDHASE, DPD, DYPD
Other: dihydropyrimidine dehydrogenase [NADP(+)]|dihydrothymine dehydrogenase|dihydrouracil dehydrogenase

The protein encoded by this gene is a pyrimidine catabolic enzyme and the initial and rate-limiting factor in the pathway of uracil and thymidine catabolism. Mutations in this gene result in dihydropyrimidine dehydrogenase deficiency, an error in pyrimidine metabolism associated with thymine-uraciluria and an increased risk of toxicity in cancer patients receiving 5-fluorouracil chemotherapy. PerCP

Common Laser: 488
Common Filter: 670/30
Excitation Peak: 482
Emission Peak: 675

Peridinin-Chlorophyll-Protein (PerCP) is a red-emitting fluorescent protein isolated from algae that can be excited by the 488 nm blue laser and captured with a 670/30 nm bandpass filter. PerCP exhibits a large Stokes' Shift, with an excitation peak at 482 nm and an emission peak at 675 nm. PerCP is was historically used in flow cytometry, however it is highly susceptible to photobleaching and... see more
