This gene encodes a CXC chemokine receptor specific for stromal cell-derived factor-1. The protein has 7 transmembrane regions and is located on the cell surface. It acts with the CD4 protein to support HIV entry into cells and is also highly expressed in breast cancer cells. Mutations in this gene have been associated with WHIM (warts, hypogammaglobulinemia, infections, and myelokathexis) synd... see more

Brilliant Violet 785

Common Laser: 405
Common Filter: 780/60
Excitation Peak: 405
Emission Peak: 785

Brilliant™ Violet 785 (BV785) is a far-red-emitting tandem fluorophore that can be excited by the 405 nm Violet laser and collected using a 780/60 bandpass filter. BV785 has an excitation peak at 405 nm and an emission peak at 785 nm. BV785 exhibits a medium level of brightness and is most often used in flow cytometry. Older instruments may not be set up for a dye with such a large Stokes shi... see more
