CD40L

Aliases: CD154, CD40L, HIGM1, IGM, IMD3, T-BAM, TNFSF5, TRAP, gp39, hCD40L
Other: CD40 ligand|CD40 antigen ligand|CD40-L|T-B cell-activating molecule|T-cell antigen Gp39|TNF-related activation protein|tumor necrosis factor (ligand) superfamily member 5

The protein encoded by this gene is expressed on the surface of T cells. It regulates B cell function by engaging CD40 on the B cell surface. A defect in this gene results in an inability to undergo immunoglobulin class switch and is associated with hyper-IgM syndrome. [provided by RefSeq, Jul 2008]

PE-Texas Red

Common Laser: 488-561
Common Filter: 630/69
Excitation Peak: 565
Emission Peak: 615

PE-Texas Red is a red-emitting tandem fluorophore that combines pycoerythrin (PE) and Texas Ted. The donor molecule, PE can be excited by the 488-nm blue, 532-nm green, or 561-nm yellow-green laser and and transfers energy to the acceptor molecule, Texas Red. PE-Texas Ted has an excitation peak at 565 nm and an emission peak at 615 nm. It is spectrally comparable to PE-eFluor™ 610, PE-Dazzle 59... see more
