Aliases: BTLA1, CD272
Other: B- and T-lymphocyte attenuator|B- and T-lymphocyte-associated protein

This gene encodes a member of the immunoglobulin superfamily. The encoded protein contains a single immunoglobulin (Ig) domain and is a receptor that relays inhibitory signals to suppress the immune response. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants. Polymorphisms in this gene have been associated with an increased risk of rheumatoid arthritis. [provided by RefSeq, Aug 2011]

Brilliant Violet 786

Common Laser: 405
Common Filter: 780/60
Excitation Peak: 405
Emission Peak: 786

Brilliant™ Violet 786 (BV786) is a far-red-emitting tandem fluorophore that can be excited by the 405 nm Violet laser and collected using a 780/60 bandpass filter. BV750 has an excitation peak at 405 nm and an emission peak at 786 nm. Due to its unique Stokes shift, few dyes have identical or near identical excitation and emission spectrums, but the nearest alternatives are Qdot® 800 and SuperB... see more
